Locating Moisture Has Never Been Easier!!

We are pleased to be able to offer our residential and commercial customers our newest defense in moisture control — the ThermalScan IRC-3000™ infrared camera.  This tool can perform a scan in minutes that would normally take hours to do with the standard moisture meter.

Through our vast experience with water damage restoration, we found it cumbersome and time-consuming for us (and our customers) to bore holes in walls to find potential leaks, only to find the source was not efficiently located.  Those days are over!!  With the ThermalScan IRC-3000™, detection of moisture can be done non-destructively, accurately, and within minutes.  It can actually locate areas of concern which may have normally gone unnoticed.

The ThermalScan IRC-3000™ can be used on nearly any building material including roofing, drywall, floor covering, exterior finishes, insulation and more. The ThermalScan IRC-3000's™ large display produces an incredible color scale image to facilitate accurate scanning - a method preferred by professionals.

Moisture can be found by measuring and displaying temperature differentials between adjacent interior areas.  With this non-invasive approach to water intrusion, we can remediate localized areas where molds and spores will thrive, creating unhealthy living conditions in your home or business.

Thermal detection is also a valued tool to show where in-wall insulation has lost its effectiveness, especially where blown-in insulation has settled over time, and is allowing the warmth you have paid dearly for -- to escape to the outside through walls where the warmest air has risen and the exterior wall insulation has "disappeared" due to compaction.

Moisture Inspections

Utilizing state-of-the-art thermal imaging, locating moisture non-destructively has never been easier – or faster. We simply turn on the ThermalScan IRC-3000™ and begin scanning walls, floors, roofs, exterior finishes and more. The temperature difference created by the presence of moisture will appear differently than the surrounding area.

Roof and Slab Leaks

The incredible sensitivity of the ThermalScan IRC-3000™ makes water saturated roof insulation and leaks in slabs stand out.  Its large display allows us to easily find the questionable sections, then snap up to 300 high quality infrared images for easy documentation.

Building Envelope Inspections

The ThermalScan IRC-3000™ is perfect for the detection of missing or compressed insulation, excessive thermal bridging between walls and plates, moisture accumulation in building materials, heat loss through windows, leaks in water pipes, damaged HVAC ducts, air leakage and more.

Monitoring

Monitoring drying curves with our ThermalScan IRC-3000™ can greatly reduce drying time.  By locating problem areas, simple changes in equipment placement can be made.  To reduce liability, at the completion of the job, thermal images can be provided to the customer and insurance adjuster to prove the building has been properly dried.
